We’re stoked to officially drop RIFF—the fast-paced, super fun game that’s about to kill the slow-paced trivia vibe forever. It’s a name-dropping showdown born from three decades of friendship and pure pop culture obsession.

Here’s the breakdown of how we went from little dudes to launching your new favorite game.

🤙 How It Started: '90s Legends in the Making

Picture it: The '90s. The air was thick with neon and chaos. If you weren’t rocking a windbreaker or settling a score with a Super Soaker, what were you even doing?

That’s when Blake and Jeff—at the ripe age of 2—met in preschool.

They were instant homies. They went from trading snacks and debating cartoons in the sandbox to building a friendship that stuck through thick and thin. All those years of inside jokes, random pop culture deep cuts, and knowing exactly what the other was thinking? Yeah, that’s the fuel that runs RIFF.

🔥 How It’s Going: Fast-Paced Firepower

Fast forward to now. We love game nights, but if we have to endure one more slow trivia round, we might riot. The solution? RIFF.

What started as a rough, homemade party game quickly turned into the ultimate Name-Drop Showdown. It’s simple, lightning-fast, and unapologetically loud. We built it to be a quick, aggressive fix—a way to challenge everyone’s recall without the need for a dusty textbook.

The mission is always the same: Shout names, win cards, and make some memories. It’s quick thinking, it’s friendly chaos, and it’s a whole lotta fun.

🐶 The Breakdown: What is RIFF?

Here’s the deal: RIFF is simple. A category is read out loud, and the first person to shout the correct name, movie, or show that fits the category wins the card. First to hit the required number of cards wins the round!

Right now, we’re rolling RIFF in 8 categories: Movies, TV, Celebrities, Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Football. Deck for everyone with the rules and gist the same. 64 game cards. Be fast and RIFF quick!
